A Medalist came into our rescue program on July 03, 2013. A Medalist came from The Edmond Animal Welfare Division along with 10 other horses as a cruelty case. A Medalist is a Beautiful, Gray, Quarter Horse, Gelding. A Medalist is registered and his date of birth is May 10, 2007. A Medalist is a body score of a 3. He is infested with internal/external parasites and is mildly anemic. He is super sweet, very smart and loves attention. He loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. A Medalist was picked for our 3rd Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Trainer Nadia Males. Nadia will be working with A Medalist for the next 100 days, turning A Medalist into a dependable riding companion. Nadia will be going against 11 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 7 Youth Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for April 26, 2014 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. A Medalist will be available for adoption immediately following the competition on April 26th, 2014. A Medalist is a sweet boy and loves attention. A Medalist has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. A Medalist has also been freeze branded and micro chipped for his protection. A Medalist has been adopted to a wonderful family in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A Medalist is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. A Medalist will soon be learning the ropes and joining the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Mounted Patrol. We look forward to seeing all his accomplishments in the future and hope to see him return to the trainers challenge next year to show us the success he has become. We are thrilled that this sweet boy will receive an unlimited amount of love and attention and from his forever, loving family.
